When we left Bridlington this morning it was soooo sunny and warm. Mistress wanted to go to a place called North Landing but when we got there I couldn't see why she was so upset and disappointed. I couldn't actually see anything; it was all grey and damp. But I ought to have known mistress wouldn't give up that easily.
When we got back from our lovely walk, instead of fish and chips we sat in a bus station for what seemed ages before we got on a bus. It was very full but everyone seemed friendly. It was warm and sunny until we got to Flamborough, then it turned grey. Not foggy (yet) but the sun had suddenly vanished. When we got to North Landing it was grey and damp and I still couldn't see anything, but this time mistress got off the bus and said she would stay. There was a lovely warm friendly pub just near the bus stop where I lay down to have a rest while mistress had a coffee. Then we went outside. Mistress did say she'd heard the fog horn all afternoon so she wasn't really surprised but it was all a mystery to me. Then we walked down this steep path, mistress sat on a seat, and I suddenly smelt the sea!
