Eventially I crossed a slight ridge to see a very small remains of a valley temple or maybe of a pylon. From it rose a very good stone causeway towards the main temple. Parts of this were covered in deep sand, and just outside the main entrance was a dune that I was unable to descend. There waso a large step into the temple itself. So I entrusted Tayyeb with my camera to explore the interior.
Here is one of the outside of the temple. There are extensive rooms to the right of the main door, apparently all the way up to the hilltop fortress over 100 yards away, but there is nothing to the left, where only modern bricks hold up the remains.
Internet was L£20 per hour, so I declined. Breakfast was on a plate as there were not enough guessts to justify a buffet.
