The Indian Summer should end tomorrow if weather forecasters are to be believed. The daily highs this week have been 37-38C, but we are now forecast a much more comfortable 31-32C. The locals will be looking for their winter coats.
At the RRH an incense burner was used to smoke out many of the pesky little insects that frequent the garden. It was relatively successful. I hope that it becomes a daily event and is extended to the WCs.
Wi-fi at the hotel has improved as I write this blog. I am seeing 4.8Mbps download and 800kbps upload using a wi-fi extender I bought a few weeks ago in Lidl. The figures are 5.23 and 870 without the extender - go figure!
I suspect that somebody has paid their monthly bill, and there will be a steady decline until this time next month.
Nothing much on the picture front. The archaeology has not changed and there is very little wild-life around at present apart from sheep, donkeys, pigeons and crows. Not even sparrows in the gardens! The moon will be full later on Wednesday, so there is very little definition on these 2 images taken at the RRH.
