With the German team so close I was unable to get a sight of Intef VII's tomb and pyramid, which were rediscovered 10 years ago just behind Sheroy.
Roy's tomb is a single small chamber with a shaft to the burial beneath. It is very well decorated in bright colours and mostly complete. The scene that caught my eye was of the weighing of the heart because two hearts were being balanced against two feathers. I assume that Roy and his wife died at the same time.
