I read a couple of books from the library at Room with a Key which mention the abdel Rassoul family - one in French has a picture of grandfather on the cover, the other is a recent re-evaluation of TT320 - the Royal Cache. I will add some titles to this small library - I had brought them out to Luxor as they have no market value in the UK. In particular Brugsche-Bey's history of Egypt, dated 1891, also relates the discovery of the cache and so is relevant to the museum here. With luck it will last a few years here rather than just being pulped in the UK. I'll also deposit a couple of Wallace Budge books. I had intended to leave these books at Sheherazade, where there is a small library, but have changed my mind.
In the evening I dined again at Coriander Kitchen. They now have a printed menu. Very short, and very cheap. Stella is LE15. Still no red wine, but another customer also asked for this, so it might be forthcoming. It transpires that rose is the favourite tipple of the Swedish partner, and she probably has plenty of part-bottles left when the wine is sold by the glass!
