I also visited the Vodafone shop to put more credit on my phone. With the "free" wi-fi being of such poor quality I am having to use my own data package most of the time. At least I've sorted out the Outlook problem which was using nearly 100GB a month back in England last spring.
A visit to the official off-license failed to find a bottle of Devlin Whisky. This is a new product that claims to be a Single Malt. Pricy (at about £20) but I fancied giving it a try. It shares its name with an Irish distillery so I wonder if it is being made under license. I am told that at the moment it is only available in Cairo and Alexandria. Maybe next year it comes to Luxor?
No weekday trip to Luxor would be complete without a meal at Kam Thai. They have put up their prices for the second time in 3 years, but are still exceptional value. I had #4 and #21 today.
The wind has dropped this evening as I enjoy a Stella in the garden at the RRH.
