The alternative cafe has a nice terrace, and for the first time I spotted the url on the bow of the Sandal. The web site is in French, but translates easily.
This cafe was playing some slightly familiar and not too obtrusive music in the background. A fairly tight loop, or a single CD. So I used Shazam to identify it as Jjos, "Imagine". I've not used Shazam before, and am impressed by how quickly it separated the music from all the background noise of the river, the road and the mosque.
I also managed to identify one of the blue cruise-ships: its name is very small, but it is the Lady Mary.
In the evening I ate indoors at Wolf. Nubi cooked me a Kabob Halle with fries, and it was very good. Unfortunately the downstairs restaurant has no decoration or soft furnishing and is very impersonal, but I was able to watch his children help in the preparation of my simple meal. My offer of "two camels" for his daughter was politely declined. She will be worth much more in a few years' time.
