The 3 tombs used to have small pyramids above, but these have mostly gone. Instead is a row of 3 doors on the higher level. The 3 tombs are accessed by a single entrance that is up a new limestone flight of steps to the right of TT1 (Senefer). A new MoA information panel is on the left, near the top of this flight.
There is a padlocked, metal gate leading to an entrance passage no more than 10 feet long which has a new wooden floor. At the far end are 3 very deep wooden steps down to an inscribed doorway. The inscription was carved into the Limestone jambs and lintel of a door less than 4 feet in height that led to a low passageway of some 12 feet before reaching the first chamber. I could see that this chamber was very well decorated, but was unable (or unwilling) to risk passing through it. I am therefore not able to report further except to say that from what little I could see, these tombs would be a very good attraction to the more able-bodied visitor.
