The 6 day moon was now visible in full daylight, but with little detail. Empty barges passed in both directions. Feluccas enjoyed a good breeze and one lad demonstrated why these vessels are so well designed by dipping the yard and climbing it from the 'head' down to tension the sail. The yard is well balanced around the mast head and the running rigging allows pleanty of options.
In the evening the moon is now getting more difficult to shoot. Tomorrow will be first quarter.
