I took some panoramas from the roof and stitched two together to show about 270° of the view. Unfortunately the roof terrace is not complete as Mohamed has planning permission for another storey. The whole building is very solidly built and a small swimming pool could be built on the roof, but that is a project for the future. The present terrace will be cleaned, tidied and furnished before any foreign visitors arrive.
He has not yet built the steps to the back door from the road. He seems to like my suggestion of a ramp so that a wheel-chair user could use the ground-floor apartment. The rest of the ground floor is all on a level, but I would need to check the width of the doorways. Some handrails might be needed in the wet-room.
I have complete control of marketing this business, and so long as the running costs are covered Mohamed will be happy. But of course I would like to achieve more.
But how can I attract business to this patch of desert, and how much can I charge? I am sure that some people and groups can be attracted, but the transport links are not good. Any ideas welcome, while I continue on the Facebook page, TripAdvisor, etc.
