An even smaller team (fewer than 10 workers) was at another location to the north, on the Assassif. It was difficult to see what they were doing.
And the team working above Sennefer, with 2 tents, was also very small.
Entertainment was provided by a black crow that glided low over the ground. A pair of Green Bee-eaters spent some time on the wires below me, but it was difficult to focus on them as the camera seemed to prefer to focus on the tarmac road beyond them. I managed one good picture of them.
At the moment Panorama is open during the day-time, but it may be best to check with Mohamed on 01010439805 before going out of your way. A limited menu is available and dinner will be served in the evening with prior notice. All food is freshly produced and I will dine there in a few days time.
I took some pictures of the Tuthmosis temple. There seem to be some new stacks of sandstone to the rear, covered by rugs, but it is difficult to tell what they are. Work has continued on reconstructing a small columned hall at the rear of the main courtyard, but the team is not on-site at the moment.
There seem to be major Internet problems in Egypt at the moment. Even when I can get decent download speeds, these don't seem to let me work very quickly. The connection with the rest of the world is being crippled.
