This morning one or two of them were up for the 5:15 prayers. But then, at about 7pm somebody came round, banging on everybody's door (including mine) and shouting to get people up. This shouting lasted about half an hour. Completely unnecessary, but Egyptian men love to shout. Not being able to sleep, I eventually went to the garden for breakfast at about 8:45. They were beginning to assemble for an excursion, and were not so noisy.
They had had a buffet, so my table had of course been used. The staff wiped it down with their usual dry cloth. I then used an anti-bacterial wet-wipe to clean it properly. This of course surprised the staff, who thought they had already cleaned it. The colour of the wet-wipe showed that they had not done a proper job! So I also wiped down all my cutlery and crockery. With most of the food being packaged, the only thing that concerns me is the bread. But there is no good way to clean that.
I spent most of the day at Habou Garden as usual. Here are a selection of pictures taken over the last few days showing a variety of cloud formations.
