Last night was clear, still, and blessed with power cuts at just the right time so I was able to photograph not only the 2 giant planets but also some of Jupiter's moons. The picture to the right is an enlargement is an enlargement from the photograph of the Ramesseum. It clearly shows Saturn as a faint spot to the right of Jupiter.
The picture with Jupiter's moons shows all 4 of the main Galilean moons, although Io is almost hidden on the edge of the blob that is Jupiter. Taking pictures with a shutter speed of 1/10 second using a 50x zoom lens is testing my ability with a hand-held camera to the limits.
