The hotel is now hosting a large group of Egyptians. They had a buffet lunch so I had to vacate my part of the garden to avoid getting involved. But on the other side of the garden I spotted yet another plumeria. It is a fairly scruffy specimen with a 4 foot stem and only a single set of leaves. I've only included the one picture of it, along with a new blossom on the original plant and another, herby-looking shrub.
I am half way through my Winter today. I could reverse the count and start counting down towards my return, but that would suggest that I am looking forward to it. No, I am really happy in my winter village. I may even have inspired yet another of my acquaintances to spend more time here - he was talking about housing, cars and all sorts, but not until next winter. With a name like Ra he is going to fit in here!
