The flocks flew north again today. They were a bit closer to the west bank so you should be able to identify the birds. In the evening I saw another flock flying in the same direction, but up near Memnon. I've been calling these cormerants, but the beak is curved downwards.
Another sheet of plywood arrived: progress continues on the internal structure of the new sandal. And an empty large bulk carrier motored south. There is a little more depth of water now, maybe a foot more than the minimum earlier in the week.
