2) in 2010 I first visited the upper terrace and glimpsed the inside of the Sanctuary of Amun with the square window above, but it was not open and not easy to get a good picture.
3) in 2011 I visited on the winter solstice but towards midday. At that time I did not appreciate the solar alignment. The picture here shows the wall alongside the Temple of Hatshepsut, illuminated by the sun, with the Hathor shrine (5 doorways) behind.
4) also in 2011 a picture of the Sanctuary of Amun clearly showing the small square windows above the entrance.
5) in 2014 at the winter solstice I had to share the occasion with this group of about a dozen other visitors. The Sanctuary of Amun was not open.
