In the morning we had a meeting at Sheherazade to discuss the website. We made some progress in deciding what to include and what to remove. But it is down to the hotel to provide the actual text. Or I will have to make use of what I learned on the Creative Writing course at Warwick University some years ago. Now I am looking for a booking system, so that the hotel can reduce its reliance on Booking.com and other agencies who charge 15-20% on every booking. Because the hotel is unable to take advance payments they lose a lot on cancellations and no-shows - the agencies still charge their cut!
I think I have found something suitable, but more on that another day.
Corinne, who is providing French translations and some good ideas has provided today's pictures of the hotel.
Desert Rose still has no Wi-Fi and Stella's pups are still too difficult to photograph even though she is happy to let me get quite close. Maybe tomorrow.
And no news yet from the Passport Office. I'll probably visit them on Thursday in the hope that their fax is now working.
