I gave Tayeb an old laptop, having reset it to factory defaults. We went to Mohamed's (see yesterday) where they finally realised that they had screwed up their new wifi - they put the name and code back to last year's values and it worked! That only took 2 hours.
Another 3 hours were spent in updating from Windoze 7 (2009) to the current version, and I doubt if we have got there yet.
I ate at Nile Flowers - it was so quiet that they sent the order home and mother cooked it there. This remains one of my favourite WB restaurants, but I hope that they improve the access road soon. LE50 for a fixed menu - I chose the kofta - and LE90 for a bottle of Obelisk.
Now for an early night before VotK in the morning. Inspector Ahmed Hassan says the free offer is for Egyptians only, but I need to check this out in person
