The plane was about half full, which probably explains how quiet the airport had been. I hope that this is a positive sign. People are not leaving in droves, but there were a lot of our friends returning home for Xmas.
Arrived early at Heathrow even after stacking for 20 minutes. Helen again went for the Heathrow Express while I took the RailAir coach to Reading. I find that there is less walking when using the coach. We were both on the same train to Worcester - it terminated at Shrub Hill, so we made our way to Foregate Street. Helen went on foot while I took the local bus. I could have caught the train but that would have involved taking a suitcase up and down the stairs at Shrub Hill as there is no passenger lift. We both arrived at Foregate Street at the same time, just as the train got there too.
Helen caught the bus home straight away, while I stopped off at the Postal Order for sustenance after a long and tiring day. I caught up with some business and watched the start of the 10 o'clock news.
All in all a good and relaxing month in the sum, except for the aggravation of the travel. I am not a fan of EgyptAir.
