There was a small group of German archaeologists just finishing their lunch. Zahi Hawass is known to visit, but not today. Anyway, after about 4pm I was the only guest left in the shady garden. The ground to the south this year is planted with sweetcorn / maize. It is growing well, but hides all the small birds and animals that I have seen here before. I would guess that it will be harvested next month.
I dined upstairs at Wolf, braving the staircase again, and was rewarded by good views of the rising moon. I don't think I've judged the exposure quite right today, but there is good detail near the terminator on the top right.
