"😚 God believe it and my pussy is in the hospitality of Luxor and especially one visit from the basis of the discovery of the tomb of berries and ạlmwmyạ..... the family of Muhammad Abdul Messenger 😚😚😚"
But we drove to the RRH just in case. We were told that the whole family was "at the gaol". So no Stella for me.
So we drove to Wolf, where I looked forward to a couple of Stellas and maybe a pizza. But the gates there were closed. No explanation, but all these families are interconnected so maybe they were also at the gaol?
Tayeb suggested Africa, which I have not tried this season. I was not optimistic but he insisted that they would have a Stella. Having climbed the stairs and found a table, it was time for sunset prayers. So Tayeb borrowed a mat and joined the staff.
15 minutes later, I was able to ask for a Stella. Of course my informant was correct - no beer here any more. So I turned down the offer of a Fanta or Sprite. They just don't cut the mustard after the sun is over the yard-arm.
I decided that Sunflower Garden would be good for a Stella, and finally I was not disappointed. I decided that I might as well stay for dinner.
The a la carte menu being such poor value, I went for the full meal. There was a potato tagine in place of the previous mollachia, which suited me. I chose Moussaka with meat as my main course and insisted that they allow me to finish the starters before serving the main course. They finally got the message. Even the menu describes them as Starters!
The desert was a very generous slab of semolina-cake. The meal at 60 LE is good value. The portions are still too large for me. The owner says that sometimes customers share a "meal for one" between 2. Sounds like a good idea.
No pictures today - they seem to have got lost on the way to FB last night.
