The hotel is fairly full: it is used by Germans and I suspect that TUI offer it in their brochures. Rooms there are expensive, and then one has to price in the isolation - to get anywhere one needs a taxi or a boat.
The east bank corniche looks to have had a facelift, with good moorings for a cruise boat or two. The concrete steps are modern, but I don't think that there are handrails.
A dahabaya was towed past at a leisurely pace. Motor boats and feluccas came and went.
At Fayrouz, one of the mother cats has found a comfortable nursing chair - much better than the pebbled floors. The auto-focus would not tune in on her, but I've left the 2 fuzzy pictures in anyway.
