As we were early, and Luxor airport is now charging serious money for waiting time, we got hassled a bit while waiting for Tayeb, who arrived after 10 minutes or so. Also the ATM near the DF shop was playing up, so I could not withdraw as much cash as I would like. So a trip to the bank next to the new DF shop (near Sonesta) will be in order later this morning (it being 1am as I type this.
Sheherazade hotel know my habits, so some Obelisk red was available even though the bar had been long closed. I don't think there are any other guests.
The Boeing 737/800 seats 160. My guess is that there were 140 on board, and I am surprised to have got the flight at the normal basic price (£352 ish) for two weeks spanning Easter! Exchange rate is nearly 11.70 so the visa at $15 gave EL11 change from £10 each.
I will have to check the settings on this computer as I cannot currently send email from Outlook. But that is a problem for the morning.
